What does Lovin' Life have to do with Losing Weight?

We all have goals in life and we think that when we achieve them that's when we will be happy. But it is quite the contrary. We need to choose to be happy now, no matter what our current life situation is, in order to manifest our goals and dreams.

Happiness is the key to every door of our dreams. When we are in joy, how can anything but good and positive manifestations flow to us?

Many of my clients come to me with the thought "I'll be happy when ...". For example, "I'll be happy when I lose 50 lbs"; "I'll be happy when I make $100,000 in my business"; "I'll be happy when my husband and I are getting along better"; "I'll be happy when I attract my ideal mate"; "I'll be happy when I can get out of this job and do something that I LOVE that is less stressful and more fun".

You get the idea, most people, maybe even you, think that when XYZ happens, you will be HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!

But the Law of Attraction simply states that things of like vibration are drawn to each other. Or said another way, what you concentrate on ... expands. So, if you are concentrating on your current life situation (e.g., being overweight) and you feel bad about it and don't like that you are overweight, then how can you attract that fit body that you so desire.

So, my coaching clients quickly learn how to be Lovin' Life Now and how to reach for that better feeling on a regular basis, no matter what is happening in their life. It's a skill that once learned and practiced on a regular basis will attract wonderful manifestations into your life. Matter of fact, achieving your goals and desires will seem so much easier than they ever have before. Because instead of focusing on what you don't want all the time and worrying about your future, you will be grounded in the present moment and choosing to be happy ... and it will feel SO good!

So, What does Lovin' Life have to do with Losing Weight? ... EVERYTHING! If you can learn how to be Lovin' Life, lovin' who you are, lovin' the NOW, just as it is ... that's when you will lose that excess weight, manifest financial abundance, attract your ideal mate ... and attract so many more rich and delicious dreams that you have.

Yes, Lovin' Life is the key to the door of your dreams, not the other way around.

The Ultimate "Feel Great - Lose Weight" Law of Attraction Program

Is weight loss going to be your New Year goal ... again?

Are you tired of the same old programs that promise you results that you can't maintain for the long haul?

If so, then you must check out my New Year weight loss coaching program where you will learn how to leverage the Laws of Attraction to shift your MindSet to attract that healthy and fit body for good!

You will only see permanent weight loss results when you learn how to align your thoughts and feelings with well-being, joy and great health! And I will show you how to do this in my 6-week group coaching program that starts in January.

Please note: During this 6-week group coaching program, I will NOT be telling you how to eat or exercise ... this program is all about shifting your mindset so that you are aligned with the health and well-being you so desire. Once you have that right, everything else will fall into place!

Just think about all the benefits of having a healthy and positive mindset, no matter what is going on in your life:

- You will be far more motivated

- You will make healthier choices because you have a wellness mindset

- Your self-image and confidence will improve, no matter what your current body looks like
(This is a big one ... if you judge your body and do not like what it looks like right now and continue to focus on the parts of your body you don't like, how can you attract the body you do want? It is just not possible with that type of self-image!)

- You will eliminate all those shoulds (throw them away ... literally!)

- You will start to take inspired actions towards attracting a healthier and more fit body.

- You will be experiencing far more joy in your life on a daily basis which will help you to manifest MORE than just a fit body, it will help you to realize your dreams!

The Law of Attraction is always in action, whether you are attracting the good or the bad. So, you might as well learn how to stay in that FEEL GOOD place so that you can continue to attract the experiences that you want in your life, not the ones that you don't!

The Holiday Bulge or Holiday Fitness?

I am already starting to see ezines and news reports on "stop emotional eating during the holidays", "avoid the holiday bulge", "watch what you eat, go to parties with a full stomach" ... blah, blah, blah!

What is already being put into our minds? The fact that we are going to gain weight during the holidays? This doesn't have to be our truth. But the outside world is already planting the seed that this will be our reality. But here's the good news, you have a choice as to whether you water and fertilize that seed or not!

Yes, people get very stressed around the holidays and many turn to food to bring them a sense of relief. However, it is not the food that packs on the pounds.

It is the stress and the emotions around this time of year
that impacts your physical body.

It is also what you think and feel about those foods you eat. If you have extreme guilt after you eat that piece of chocolate cake, don't you think that guilty/negative feeling impacts how your body responds to that yummy desert? Of course it does. Everything is a vibration! If you expect that chocolate cake to go directly to your butt ... it will! Yes, you are that powerful.

So, why not start embracing a new story. Start to handle the stress in a different way. Begin to reach for a better feeling when you feel that overwhelmed feeling that can sometimes creep up on you during the holidays. Better yet, decide that this holiday season is going to be different and that you are going to find the peace in the midst of the Holiday storm that exists in the outside world.

I learned something very interesting during the period of time that I have maintained a healthy & fit body for over 17 years and counting -- I don't need to be so strict with everything I eat! Yes, I went through my phases ... extremely low fat foods, no dairy, higher protein/lower carbs, no rich and creamy desserts ... and what I realized is that I CAN incorporate some of those foods that I once thought were "unhealthy for me". Most likely, because I believed those specific foods were "unhealthy for me", I had to keep them out of my diet at that time. Why? Because what we believe to be true is manifested into our reality.

So, take a good hard look at your beliefs around the foods you eat. Start thinking of the thoughts & feelings you have as food for your body as well. Do you have "junk food" thoughts & feelings or do you "feed" your body with nutrient-rich, healthy & happy thoughts & feelings?

Bump up your peace and happiness to the top of your list of things to do during this upcoming holiday season. Honor your joy and take good care of you during this time of year. Choose happiness, not stress. Choose peace, not craze. Choose love of yourself, not beating up on yourself for what you did or didn't do!

And if all else fails and you need that extra level of support to stay centered and calm during this holiday season, instead of going to the drive-thru window at McDonalds,
stop by the drive-thru window of coaching support and treat yourself to some Holiday fitness advice==> Speed Coaching for that Holiday Stress

The holidays are supposed to be a joyous time of year. Embrace the joy part, throw the stress away and your body will thank you with great physical and emotional well-being!

Reset your Fat MindSet!

Now, don't take offense to the title of this blog post. I sometimes have a "fat mindset" too - but I know how to shift it quickly to a "fit mindset" so that I continue to maintain a healthy & fit body! Read on and see how having a "fat mindset" will sabatoge your weight loss success.

First, let's talk about what a "fat mindset" would look like ...

As a Law of Attraction Weight Loss Coach, I hear lots of new clients coming to me and complaining about the way they look. They are focused only on what they don't like about their body and in particular they refer to themselves as a "fat slob", "flabby", "digusting" ... and the list goes on. Their self-image of their body is in a very negative place. Basically, they are dissatisfied with the way they look and focus on this very feeling throughout the course of the day.

Does that sound like you? When you look in the mirror do you appreciate the body you have or do you frown upon it and right away laser focus on the parts of your body that you don't like and have massive judgment around?!

If you are like many, you tend to laser focus on the negatives and on the parts of your body that are not fit and look out-of-shape. And what happens after that? Well, there's a lot of "beating up on yourself" and judgment that takes place in that mind of yours.

That is what I am calling a Fat MindSet. You are focusing on the exact thing that you want to get rid of and you are feeling bad about it! (That last part of how you feel when you look at your excess fat is a critical component that must change in order for you to attract that healthy and fit body that you so want to have!)

Now, if you are not familiar with the Law of Attraction, the premise is simple:

Your thoughts & feelings create your reality. You are a creator of your life experiences, which are influenced by the nature of the thoughts you choose to think and the feelings that you have in response to those thoughts.

Said another way, what you concentrate on expands. Yes, that waistine of yours can expand even more if you keep on focusing on how "fat" you are.

Seriously, how can you expect to attract a healthy and fit body if you are focused on the exact opposite. Think about it on a different topic ... one that you probably don't have as big of an emotional charge on -- let's take owning your own business. As an entrepreneur you want to be wildly successful. But let's say, you are focusing on the lack of income that you have coming in and you are also looking at the products that you sell and you are not very happy with them -- you perceive your products to be less than optimal. With this mindset, how could you expect to attract clients who love your products and what you have to offer? How could you attract success if you feel "less than" or like a failure? Well, you wouldn't. You can't have a "lack" or "failure" mentality and attract success -- it is NOT going to happen! People who are successful believe in themselves, have a self confidence that is felt by everyone that they interact with. It's an invincible energy that impacts their success. And when things are not going well for them, they just keep their eyes on their dream - they don't let setbacks stop them from being successful.

The same principle can apply to any area of your life. Weight loss is no exception. What you think about your body plays a major role in how successful you are with this weight loss journey.

So, how do you change your "Fat MindSet"?
* Change what you are focusing on.

* See the things that you like about yourself.

* Focus more on that fit body that you want to have instead of focusing on your unfit body!

* Start accepting and loving who you are right now, no matter what your body looks like.

Acceptance is the key to attracting the change you are seeking. When you are at peace with where you are at with a clear and detached intention of where you want to go, that's when the positive manifestations happen! Your health and fit body is on its way!

Jessica Simpson and Your Body Image?

Even though a couple days have passed since this ridiculous media story on Jessica Simpson, I just couldn't help to comment on it on my Weight Loss and Law of Attraction blog!

First of all, what was FOX thinking when they mocked Jessica Simpson's weight in that cartoon??? Really? Are you kidding me?

Do not let this story or any other story that is attacking someone because of their physical appearance impact your overall body image. These stories have nothing to do with you!

As a Law of Attraction Health Coach, here's what else I have to say on the matter:

1) News flash ... It only matters what Jessica Simpson thinks about her body! She said on Twitter "I will never understand why people attack for a laugh. Own your beauty and don't listen to the judgment!" Amen to that, Jessica! And don't even try to understand why people do what they do. You are absolutely right - We all should "own our beauty" and (let me add) not give a rip about what other people think or say about us. First of all, that says more about them than it does about us!

2) When the media reports stories like this, we have to remember one simple thing (no matter who you are -- whether you are an adult or a young girl or boy who is conscious of their weight):

=> If what you hear doesnt make you feel good, then turn it off, change the channel and don't let it absorb into your belief system.
It has nothing to do with you!

3) Love yourself just for who you are. I mentioned this in my You Tube video (see side panel of this blog to view the video on Law of Attraction and Weight Loss) -- You have to find the things you love about yourself and appreciate who you are right in this moment. If you don't like yourself or you judge yourself as being fat, flabby, out-of-shape, you are not going to be able to easily attract to you the body that you do want. It's quite de-motivating to believe in those type of things that you are telling yourself.

Be at peace with where you are at, with a clear intention of where you want to go with your overall health and wellness.

Well, that's what I have to say on this topic ... and don't even get me started on the Barbie Doll and Fat ankles story. Again, pay it no mind. It's just a story and it has nothing to do with your body image.
Think highly of yourself! Know that you are beautiful, no matter how much you weigh.
A person with confidence and a deep appreciation for who they are is far more attractive than any person who just happens to be super skinny (by the standards of the critics out there!)

Own your beauty!

Think and Feel your way to a Healthy and Fit Body!

Can you really think and feel your way to a more slim and fit body? REALLY?

You mean it doesn't matter whether you exercise or what you put into your body?

Yes it does ... but only from the perspective of the nature of your thoughts and feelings around your health and wellness and your body image. That's what matters more than anything else.

What you think and feel about your body, physical fitness level and the foods you eat correlates 100% with the results you get. You get what you think about … each and every time! So, if you are focused on your “out of shape” body and looking in the mirror saying “ugh … my thighs are fat” .. well, what do you think you are going to get more of? Yes, more thunder thighs for you (whether you work out or not)!

You mean “I can just choose a different thought and I will become thin & fit?”
Well, YES! (And the feeling behind your thoughts is what determines your success!)

What you think & feel about your body and the foods you eat is all energy. You are sending a message out into the Universe, typically giving attention to the exact thing you don’t want. The Law of Attraction states:

“The essence of that which is like unto itself, is drawn.” ~ Abraham-Hicks.

So, if are you feeling disappointed with the current shape of your body, more disappointment is on its way (and that may be in other areas of your life too!). Think of an Olympic athlete: What do you think they focus on more: the ultimate outcome they desire or the times they haven’t been at their best? If they have that Olympic medal, you know that they focus on the desired outcome and FEEL it to the very core of their being. They couldn’t get caught up in the times when they didn’t do their very best and were not in their prime shape. If they did that, it would change how they feel, shift their energy and ultimately attract “losing” as opposed to “winning”.

Understanding the way the Law of Attraction works is quite empowering! Once you get it, you are well on your way to that healthy & fit body you desire. Matter of fact … it’s a “Done Deal”! That’s the decision you must make in order to achieve your fitness goal.

This is one of my favorite quotes that I share with my life coaching clients:

“Being Healthy doesn’t make you Happy – being Happy makes you Healthy!”

Think about it, if you are choosing to focus on the body you currently have and are making judgments about it (not liking it very much), are you really happy? No. You are focused on what you don’t want which makes you feel emotions that are more towards the negative end of the emotional scale. You can’t be truly happy if you are focused on the negatives! So, I teach my coaching clients how to choose happiness first and as a result, great health & wellness will follow.

One of my weight loss coaching clients came to me with the intention to lose weight and become more fit. However, she was judging herself so much when she “slipped up” and ate something that she was told by her Naturopath that she shouldn’t eat, that her feelings of guilt, disappointment, frustration were actually the things that were hindering her success. It wasn’t about what she was eating or whether she was exercising or not, it was about how she felt during this whole process and how aligned she was with her natural well-being. Once she learned how to relax about it all (including the foods she was eating) and be kinder to herself, she started making choices that were aligned with wellness and felt better to her. She was happier on a more regular basis, so as a result, she was making healthier choices for her body!

Beating up on yourself is a great way to put a barrier between you and what you want.
It’s a negative vibration that conflicts with who you really are.

Here are some Weight Loss Coaching tips to help you to Think & Feel your way to a better body:

1) Pay more attention to “what you are thinking and feeling” than “what you are eating or how you are exercising”. Always guide your emotions to a better feeling place and you will make the right choice for your overall health.

2) Focus on the progress you are making not the gap between where you are and where you want to go. If you lost 2 lbs, jump for joy! Don’t feel “oh, I have 48 more to go”. Can you feel where the focus is? It doesn’t feel so good, does it? It’s about being OK with where you are at, feeling appreciative for what is working & eagerly anticipating the manifestation of your ultimate goal.

3) Don’t weigh yourself if you know it’s potentially going to set your mood for the day (in the negative). I tell my coaching clients all the time that if “taking score of where you are at” makes you feel bad … then don’t do it! Shift your focus to something that makes you feel better. Most people don’t step on the scale waiting with eager anticipation for the scale to reveal a number that will thrill them. They have more of a “doubt”, “concern”, “hoping”, type of feeling. I know … I used to be 70 lbs heavier and let the scale rule my day. If the number was pleasing to me, I was happy; if the number was something I didn’t want, it set my mood for the day. I finally learned that reaching for a better feeling all the time and focusing only on what was working & making a decision that this was a done deal, were the keys to my success. You can read more about my journey here: http://www.lovinlifenow.com/weight-loss-coaching.html

4) DECIDE.... yes, this tip sounds very simple -- but it works. If you truly decide that you will have that fit body- it’s yours … you WILL have it! Now, here's the key --- you REALLY have to DECIDE -- which means, there are no other options; you will not be thrown off your game. It's a "Hell, Yes! This is happening!" kind of decision. Nothing will stop you from achieving this goal because you are eagerly EXPECTING the manifestation of it!

5) Always remember that feeling “stressed” is a choice. Stress will negatively impact your overall health & well-being. Feeling stressed is a negative feeling that resonates with every cell of your body.
If you feel blessed & appreciate where you are at, you can’t feel stressed. So appreciate more & choose to be Lovin’ Life Now and you will be well on your way to a happy & healthy body!!!

Weight Loss -The Law of Attraction way!

Years ago when I started this blog it was all about how to treat being diagnosed with a chronic health condition as just a bump in the road of life, specifically Multiple Sclerosis. It was as a result of my own diagnosis and my passion for helping people trasnform their lives as a Life Coach, that got me writing. Over the years, this blog has morphed into a variety of different topics but has always hovered around one main theme: Health & Wellness and how we have the power within us to alter and improve our overall state of health.

What I have learned about the blogging world is that the more specific you are about your topic, the more readers will find you and be inspired by your words and message. My three niches that I am super passionate about as a Health & Wellness Coach are the following:

1) Weight Loss and Law of Attraction -- basically, how to think & feel your way to a healthier & fit body --- Your MindSet is more important than you think it is to being successful with your weight loss journey.

2) Helping Doctors avoid burnout, reduce stress & improve their work/life balance -- I am a Certified Life Coach for Doctors/Physicians and am passionate about helping those in the Medical Profession to improve their own overall health & well-being so that they can give their very best to their patients & that their personal satisfaction with their own profession significantly improves.

3) Life Coaching for people diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (especially those who are newly diagnosed with MS!) -- helping them improve their overall health by learning the Laws of Attraction and leveraging them in their favor so that they can turn their overall state of health around.

As passionate as I am about all three niches above, I have decided to make this blog about Weight Loss, the Law of Attraction way! First off, let me state that I have personally lost 70 lbs and have kept it off for over 17 years and counting -- so I do know something about this topic and I am very passionate about helping my clients see the same permament weight loss that I have been fortunate to experience!

If you are someone who is looking to lose that excess weight permanently and learn how to conquer what appears to be that unending battle of the bulge .. then stay tuned... This is going to be the blog for you.

In the meanwhile, check out my You Tube video on how to Lose Weight using the Law of Attraction where you will get an introduction on the topic and how to reset your mindset to manifest the healthy & fit body you are looking for.

For future posts I plan on interviewing people who are currently on the journey of losing weight to bring to life some real life stories and then give you my coaching perspectives on how each and every one of you can lose that weight for good!

I will admit, that even though I have a healthier & more fit body than I had 17 years ago, every once and a while I slip into that "fat mindset" and I catch myself in the act so that I can shift my mindset back to one that is aligned with wellness, fitness, well-being and loving myself. Because I know how to shift my mindset, I still maintain a healthy & fit body.

More to come about your mindset and how it has EVERYTHING to do with your success with losing weight. Stay tuned ...

Michael Jackson and the Law of Attraction!

We all have the power within us to create our reality by the nature of our thoughts and feelings -- including even Michael Jackson! Yes, this Law applies to everyone ... irregardless of your celebrity status, race, gender, sexual orientation, what country you live in, what your financial situation is -- it doesn't matter. We are all human beings with powerful minds, who think and feel all the time!

If you think and feel all the time, you create your reality by the nature of those thoughts and feelings. Period! That's the definition of the Law of Attraction. And whether we want it or not, if we put our focus and attention onto it, we will attract more of the essence of that thing we are focusing on.

Ok, so now you are probably wondering -- what does this have to do with Michael Jackson? Well, everything! One of my life coaching clients recently told me the following story:

1) I just saw a piece on Dateline in which Michael Jackson's brother says that when he recorded the album THRILLER he very much wanted the album to be "the best selling album in history!"
His brother says that he wanted it so much that he wrote it on the bathroom mirror and looked at it EVERY day. As we all know, Thriller was and still is the #1 album in history. A pretty incredible feat for a litte black boy from Indiana in a time when MTV would not play black music. If he had "see it like it is itis" he would never have allowed himself to dream that big.
What's more he envisioned it everyday.

Clearly, Michael put his energy, focus and attention on this one thing --- he thought about it, felt it, no matter what forces were against him, and decided that this was going to be his reality! And it was and still is. This was Law of Attraction in action. As a result of his thoughts and feelings, he created this amazing reality for himself!

Here's another example of Law of Attraction (unfortunately it works both ways -- with "good" and "bad" life experiences):

2) On Lisa Marie Presley's MySpace Blog , she said the following:

"Years ago Michael and I were having a deep conversation about life in general. I can't recall the exact subject matter but he may have been questioning me about the circumstances of my Fathers Death.

At some point he paused, he stared at me very intensely and he stated with an almost calm certainty, "I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did."
I promptly tried to deter him from the idea, at which point he just shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that."

Lisa Marie Presley also said on this same post "He was an incredibly dynamic force and power that was not to be underestimated. When he used it for something good, it was the best and when he used it for something bad, It was really, REALLY bad!"

This is Law of Attraction in action! Period. What Michael Jackson thought and felt 100% impacted the results he got in his life. And here's the news flash --- it happens this way with all of us!

Do you think that there was any coincidence that his Thriller album was the best selling album in history? Do you think that his death at a young age was just a fluke? No, he just knew on some level that both of these events were going to happen. And they did.

Clients of my health coaching services know that the stress and worry that they have in any area of their life, 100% negatively impacts their overall health and well-being. That's one thing you can definitely count on! Every cell in your body responds to the nature of your thoughts and feelings! If you are a chronic worrier and are planning for the worst case scenario -- guess what? Your body will let you know with physical symptoms and that "worst case scenario" .... well, you are on the path to manifesting it until you change the nature of your thoughts and feelings and reach for a better feeling!

Over time, Michael Jackson definitely had quite a bit of stress, pressures, worries -- I am pretty sure of that! Imagine the nature of his thoughts and feelings during different stages of his life. One of the times that the media discusses a lot is when Michael Jackson was on trial. All the stress from that trial definitely took a physical and emotional toll on him (no matter what "camp" you are coming from on what you thought about all those allegations, bottom line -- it impacted his overall state of health - both physically and emotionally!)

Let me state that I believe that Michael Jackson was (and still is) one of the most talented pop artists out there! He was "off the charts" in the talent category and will be an icon that lives forever throughout the entire globe.

So ... Michael Jackson used the Law of Attraction -- we all do (whether we know it or not & whether we are attracting bad things or good things into our life) - it all stems from our thoughts and feelings!

You have the most powerful life-altering machine within you --- Your Mind!
Use it to your advantage and start attracting the life experiences that you truly desire, not the ones you don't want!

Lovin Life is a Choice!

"Every day is a new chance to hit the reset button and choose healthier and happier thoughts! Seize that opportunity!"
~ Maria Lesetz, Lovin' Life Coach

Lovin Life is a choice. It's not something that only happens to a select few. No matter what is happening in your life right now, you can CHOOSE to be Lovin Life, despite any bump in the road you may be facing.

Your thoughts and feelings create your reality. Matter of fact, your mind is the key to the door to Happiness! You have the power to change anything in your life. You just have to believe that, be willing to pay more attention to the nature of your thoughts & feelings and be open to shifting your thoughts & feelings to more empowering ones. This takes consistent practice -- but it definitely is NOT hard work -- it's a natural and easy way to be living a more joyous and easier life!

In this society we tend to focus on what's NOT working and report the negative news. It's not often you hear a news report on the positive aspects of life or people sharing stories about all the blessings in their lives. Imagine if all of us made a choice to share the good news, smile more often, focus on the blessings as opposed to the misfortunes in our lives! What a world it would be.
Well, it can be this way ... I am passionate about helping my coaching clients to be Lovin' Life more each day and my message of Lovin' Life is being spread throughout the world as I type this blog post. Here's a link to a TV Interview I just did on KVAL News in Eugene, Oregon on how to shift your Mind Set so that you can improve your overall financial situation and anything else in your life.

http://tinyurl.com/LovinLifeonTV

Listen to this 6-minute video and be on your way to Lovin' Life more each day. Remember ... it is a choice. You CAN choose to be Happy!

Start leveraging the power of your thoughts & feelings to your advantage and create the best life you can possibly imagine. Isn't that what it's all about anyway? Life is supposed to be fun!

It's just Pond Scum!

During a coaching session today, I came up with analogy for those old thoughts and beliefs that surface every once in a while, even when we are moving forward and making progress with our goals and dreams.

Imagine this. You are working on a particular area of your life. You have made great progress on shifting your mindset to one that is more empowering and positive. You are loving life and noticing all the blessings that are coming into your life. You are definitely in attraction mode, bringing to you more and more things that you want in your life. And then, someone says something to you or something happens to you that brings up some old belief that you thought you got rid of.

It kind of feels like a "twinge" or "something's off" -- you know that you have a little bug-a-boo that is gnawing at you. You know that if you give it attention, you will get more of what you don't want! But at the same time, you want to bring it up to your coach because you want this old belief to be gone once and for all -- 'cause you know it sure doesn't serve you.

Well, here's what I say about those left-over thoughts & feelings that surface like that:

"It's just Pond Scum!"

Yep! That's all it is. Some past stuff that is surfacing, has no purpose in your life, and just floats at the top (not looking so pretty!) All is Well. It is what it is. Just focus your attention right back to the progress you are making in your life; to the beliefs that have turned into more empowering ones; to all the things you have in your life right now in this present moment that you are grateful for!

We are our worst critics. I tell my caoching clients to just Relax, Let Go and Trust that All is Well. That's MY theme for this year! And honestly I feel that it is the key to truly Lovin' Life and experiencing true Happiness at a soul level.

So, the next time an old belief or thought creeps up and gives you a twinge of uncomfortable, just remember this ...

It's just Pond Scum ... surfacing at the top of the water. It CAN be moved. It's just floating there. It is what it is. No need to give it attention. It doesn't serve you in any way, shape or form. It will not bring you joy. So, just leave it alone, Let it Go and move on with your amazing, magical life that is unfolding before your eyes!

Being Delusional isn't so Bad!

What if we all played "Make-Believe"? What if we only chose to see what we could cook up in our imaginations? What if we pretended that everything we truly desire has already come to us and we acted "as if" it was already here? Have you ever seen a child when they are playing and pretending to be with their invisible friends -- don't they look happy and content in their own little world?

If we imagined more and truly believed what we were imagining, we would manifest exactly what we want ... and quicker too!

There are some people who may say that you are "delusional" -- and their point is WHAT?

Here's the definition of "delusional":
"a persistent false belief held in the face of strong contradictory evidence"

First of all "looking at the evidence that it is in front of you" will just bring you more of the same! If you like what you see ... GREAT! But, what if you don't like what the evidence is showing you? Do you want to keep focusing on it and focusing on it and make yourself feel worse than you already do? Of course not! (I choose to turn off the TV when the media starts talking negatively about the "state of the economy" -- what's focusing on that going to bring me? Yes, more of the same. I choose to believe that my business will thrive in this economy and that there is more than enough money out there to attract into my business and life! And that IS my reality.)

And "false belief" -- who's to say that what you choose to believe that is contradictory to what you see is "false"? There are many great inventors out there who chose to believe that something could be created when all evidence was pointing to the fact that it never has been done. But, did those inventors make that stop them? Did they really have a false belief OR did they just choose to think differently in order to create some beautiful work of art or some advanced technology that made the society as advanced as it is today?

Being "delusional" (based on the definition above) isn't so Bad -- matter of fact ...
IT'S A GOOD THING!

Choose to believe something today that will bring you more joy (even if the evidence in front of you contradicts what you would like to manifest). Because remember ... the only thing that keeps you from having what you want is the nature of your thoughts, feelings & beliefs about that thing.

Pretend. Imagine. Feel like you already have it. Then, watch the magic happen.

Jessica Simpson Weight Discussion -- How Ridiculous!

On occasion I watch the news and hear some stories that make me ... well, let's say "have a discussion with the TV and speak back to it". As a Health Coach & Weight Loss Coach my ears perk up when I hear news and discussion around people's weight and/or their journey to losing weight and getting fit. But the latest story on Jessica Simpson -- come on! She is beautiful!
So What? Maybe she put on a few pounds -- well, that's quite normal! I think many of us can relate to that. But to make it a big news story -- what type of message does that send to the public, our kids, women who are struggling with the weight loss battle??? Anyone who has a poor body image?

When Jessica Simpson was doing that movie and those commercials where she was extremely skinny, I can assure you that she wasn't eating much AND she was working out furiously to keep her body that tiny size --- is that the normal regime for most of America? No! Have you ever heard of what models put themselves through to look the way they do (and by the way, they still get air-brushed!) Unbelievable! So, what you see in magazines is an illusion and much of society, especially young women buy into that this is the way they are supposed to look to be beautiful! Well, I hope at least one young woman is reading this now -- the way Jessica Simpson looks right now is beautiful, healthy and realistic. Hey, she looks GREAT, is performing for millions of people, she's singing --doing what she loves -- and is getting paid a lot of money for her talent! Now, that's something to emulate! That's something to put your focus on!

Look ... I know what it is like to be overweight and tried everything under the sun to lose that excess fat. I know what it is like to look in the mirror and have negative thoughts about how I looked and despite that external confident image, there was definitely a woman underneath who had a lack of confidence because of her weight. But I learned something very important along the way to losing that excess weight permanently and becoming more fit and having a healthy body:

"Our thoughts & feelings about our body play a huge role
in how fit our body becomes!"
Think about it -- I am sure you have heard the phrase "what you resist, persists" or "what you focus on, whether good or bad, you get more of." So, does it serve you well to be focusing on "weight gain" and the parts of your body you don't like? NO! You must love your body and have the goal of having a healthy, fit body. Focusing on that excess weight will just bring you more of the same!

For more of my coaching tips on losing weight, you can visit my website at www.LostTheWeightAndFeelingGreat.com and read more about my own personal weight loss journey. You can download my free Weight Loss report which will give you my top 7 tips to losing the weight permanently.

Just keep in mind, if "weight loss" is one of your goals, the first thing you need to do is change your thoughts and feelings around this goal. I recently had a coaching client tell me that she wants to NOT be tempted (by all those foods she enjoys eating). Well, she was SO focused on NOT be tempted that guess what -- she is constantly tempted and gives in to that temptation. It's the Law of Attraction in action. As a Law of Attraction Health Coach, I told her to focus more on what she was grateful for in her life and that when she had one of those gremlin thoughts come up to stop and shift to a thought that feels better. I also told her to Relax about the food and to not beat up on herself so much!
